While TOMS Shoes aren't new, I purchased my first pair this summer and can't rave enough. Being a good citizen is very important to be. When I can pair giving back with shopping - COUNT ME IN!

With every pair of shoes you purchase, TOMS will give pair of new shoes to a child in need - One for One.

Check out their website and when you order your TOMS (and I know you will), order a half a size smaller than you wear. They will be tight when you get them, but they will stretch after a few wears.

Sarah Richardson made my Mom cry!

My mom is a huge Sarah Richardson (design guru) fan, so when I had the opportunity to meet her, I had to ask her for an autograph. Being the classy woman she is, she was happy to personalize a photo of herself writing - "Merry Christmas Sheryl - Sarah Richardson"

I framed the photo in a beautiful silver frame that even Sarah Richardson would approve of and put it under the tree on Christmas day. My mom's mouth dropped to the floor when she saw what it was, followed my a few tears.

Even though it is August, Sarah Richardson's autographed "Merry Christmas" photos still has a prominent home in my parent's living room.

Rhys Turned 1 with a personalized book

For my special friend Rhys' first birthday I bought him the most amazing personalized story book from Shutterfly. Now I have seen these types of books before and they have been fairly poor quality. My purchase was quite the opposite. For $35 (reg $39.99) I received a high quality, personalized book for my little friend. I provided Shutterfly with a photo of Rhys, his birth date, hometown etc.

Here is how it turned out:
